Nevada Metabolic Tech Company Secures Partnership in Korea

Sable Systems International is a Las Vegas-based, metabolic measurement technology company. The company sought the U.S. Commercial Service - Nevada’s (CS Las Vegas) assistance as it considered a strategic partnership with Mirae STC Co. Ltd. in South Korea. This partnership marked a significant milestone for the company in its mission to expand its presence in Asia and provide scientific equipment to researchers across South Korea.

The company faced challenges in entering the competitive South Korean market, including building distribution channels and establishing relationships with key stakeholders. To address these challenges, Sable reached out to CS Las Vegas, the Rural Export Center, and the Commercial Service - Korea offices for support.

CS provided export counseling and services, including an International Company Profile (ICP), to evaluate the suitability of Mirae STC as a potential partner.  Through the U.S. Commercial Service’s guidance and support, Sable Systems International and Mirae STC successfully signed a contract, and their collaboration yielded positive results. The partnership allowed Sable Systems’  technology to reach South Korean researchers, contributing to advancements in fields such as animal physiology and behavior, and environmental science. The partnership also strengthened Sable Systems’ brand presence in Asia, positioning the company for continued growth in the region.

“We are thrilled to have partnered with Mirae STC and to have the support of the U.S. Commercial Service throughout this process. Their expertise and guidance were instrumental in helping us navigate the complexities of the South Korean market. With their help, we have successfully established a strong partnership that will allow us to better serve our customers and advance scientific research in South Korea. We look forward to a long and fruitful collaboration with Mirae STC and continued success in the region.” ~ Robbin Turner, CEO of Sable Systems International
