Mr. Trunfio brings a wealth of executive leadership experience across the private lending and mortgage finance sectors, having successfully led teams that originated over $8 billion in business purpose loans to real estate investors. Prior to joining Genesis, Trunfio served in multiple senior leadership roles at established firms in the private lending space, including as Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Production Officer at Lima One Capital and as President of Lending at DLP Direct Lending Partners. Earlier in his career, he helped lead sales, marketing, operations, and credit teams at various companies, helping to optimize business strategies, build efficient processes, and execute sustainable growth initiatives.
The appointment of Mr. Trunfio comes during a period of rapid growth for Genesis.
