Nevada’s Marijuana Industry Ramps Up Delivery Services

LAS VEGAS (AP) — The lawful marijuana industry in Nevada is ramping up its delivery services as demand for the drug continues to increase since its recreational consumption became legal in the state earlier this month.

Tim Conder is the founder of Reno-based Blackbird, which delivers pot from 15 dispensaries to customers' homes across the state. He toldthe Las Vegas Sun he plans to deliver weed from 15 additional dispensaries by the end of next month.

Dispensary owner Armen Yemenidjian says some customers ask for delivery just for convenience, while some medical marijuana consumers are physically unable to travel to a dispensary.
