REDDING, Calif. — The Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) announced that six vape shops in Redding were cited for possession of untaxed tobacco products, illegal flavored tobacco products, and illegal flavor enhancers following inspections conducted by the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA) in March.
The inspections, which took place on March 17 and 19, revealed that all six shops owned illegal flavored tobacco products and flavored tobacco product enhancers. Additionally, the HHSA said various cannabis-related products were found at the locations.
The CDTFA confiscated $159,629 worth of illegal products during the inspections.
