Police have dismantled a major cannabis farm in Coventry. Officers swooped on a property on Arbury Avenue in Foleshill.
Teams discovered around 50 cannabis plants when they raided the city address on Saturday (March 29). Electricity inside the property had also been bypassed.
A 45-year-old man, who has not been named, was arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis, Coventry Police said. He has since been referred to the Home Office.

A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “We discovered up to 50 cannabis plants at an address on Arbury Avenue in Coventry on Saturday. Anyone with information can contact us via Live Chat on our website or by calling 101 and quoting log 3803 of March 29.”
North West Coventry Police said on X: “Officers attended an address to carry out enquiries for another matter and happened to stumble across a cannabis grow in the process. A man has been arrested on suspicion of the cultivation of cannabis and the abstraction of electricity.”
Officers said they are continuing the crackdown on illegal drugs activity in Coventry. Teams recently smashed a major grow on Fletchamstead Highway.
Around 120 cannabis plants were found and subsequently destroyed. A 31-year-old man was arrested and taken in for questioning.
