Warrant Round-Up In Tucumcari Nets 5 Arrests Including Attempted Murder Suspect

NMSP News:

TUCUMCARI — New Mexico State Police (NMSP) conducted a warrant round-up operation May 3, 2024, in an attempt to locate wanted attempted murder suspect, Julian Martinez, 18, of Tucumcari.

In addition to the arrest of Martinez, who had an active warrant from the Tucumcari Police Department on the charges of Attempted Murder in the 1st Degree and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, NMSP made the following additional arrests:

          • Joshua Neal, 34, was arrested on a warrant for Resisting Evading a Police Officer, Criminal Damage to Property over $500, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Aggravated Battery, and Criminal Trespassing. 
          • Toby Jaramillo, 67, was arrested on a warrant for Aggravated DWI.
          • Jerry Ingram, 27, was arrested on a warrant for Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. 
          • Rita Lopez, 43, was arrested for Failure to Comply with Conditions of Release.
